When Go Nagai released a series of Shin Cutey Honey graphic novels in the
early 1990's, new interest occurred for Cutey Honey. Because of the popularity of Nagai-san's graphic
novels, a series of adult-oriented OVA episodes were made. The new OVA series served as a continuation of
Go Nagai's original manga series.
